Ranging from straightforward directives ("Touch the cat") to more intricate instructions ("With your orange crayon, color the large one that is a furry pet and likes to chase mice"), your child can develop and learn with this game progressively. Vibrant artwork and animations set against a clean white background come together to provide a comprehensive gaming experience free of visual distractions. Engaging sound effects and surprises maintain the excitement of the game! The app covers ten key concepts: Give, touch, open, close, top, middle, bottom, push, color, erase.
Noteworthy features include settings for data collection, individual play (up to 75 users) versus group play, automatic advancement or manual progression to the next instruction, options for touch/drag or touch/tap interactions, text display on/off (to practice reading as opposed to listening), selection of specific concepts, and the desired difficulty level: easy, intermediate, and advanced.
An additional feature within this app is the optional “Superstar Direction,” offering extra opportunities for memory practice ("What did you have to do?") as well as expressive language practice. The child's responses are recorded and played back. Superstar Directions can be adjusted to various intervals or turned off entirely.
